About Dr Tan

Dr. Karen Tan is a naturopathic physician and licensed acupuncturist. She is a graduate of the National College of Naturopathic Medicine, an accredited four-year, post-graduate program designed to produce primary care physicians.

In addition, Dr. Tan received a Masters degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. She is licensed to practice naturopathic medicine and acupuncture in the State of Hawaii.

Dr. Tan is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians and Hawaii Society of Naturopathic Physicians. She travels frequently to the mainland U.S. and Canada where she attends seminars and conferences to keep up with new techniques and further her knowledge in the practice of medicine.

Giving each patient adequate time and her complete attention enables Dr. Tan to administer the best medical care. Utilizing her unique blend of skills, she provides a wide range of choices to optimize her patients’ health and well-being.
